Welcome to Bass Pro Shops, Round Rock!
The 120,000 square foot Round Rock Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World is located at the northeast corner of IH-35 and University Drive, south of Westinghouse. We are just north of the Round Rock Outlet Mall. While you’ll find a huge selection of outdoor gear and apparel, Bass Pro Shops stores are also a destination — part museum, art gallery, antique store, aquarium, education, conservation and entertainment center.

The entire store is a tribute to the vast diversity of the Central Texas landscape, its history and the culture of its people. Using more than area artifacts, state and record wildlife mounts are displayed alongside local period prints depicting early Texans enjoying sporting adventures. The 16,000 gallon aquarium is stocked with fish native to the area including largemouth bass, white bass, brook trout, catfish, gar, crappie and smallmouth.

Bowling like you’ve never seen it before is offered at Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl and Grill. This nautical-themed restaurant, located on the west end of the store, features a truly unique atmosphere geared for family fun and dining. Customers have the chance to bowl “under the sea” on one of sixteen lanes. Casual family dining is available in the Grill which also features two private dining rooms with A/V for meetings and special events.

Party packages are available including bowling, shoe rental, pizzas, pop, and themed service ware. Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl and Grill also has a nautical themed full bar and a Black Widow Billiards Room.

The Tracker Marine Boat Center displays a full range of boats from Tracker Marine–the world’s largest manufacturer of fishing boats — and ATVs and UTVs. The Power Pros boat service center features four service bays, offers servicing for all makes and models of boats and motors.

What matters — all that matters — is that we outthink, outsmart and outcraft average in everything we do. Because there are a whole lotta’ legs, torsos, feet and crotches out there counting on us.

WHO WE ARE

Hometown Gift & Decor is a specially curated boutique where you will find high-quality home décor, modern baby clothing, hand-crafted jewelry, and thoughtful gifts that are as fun to give as they are to receive.  Located on the corner of Main and Burnet Street, Hometown is direct across the street from the gorgeous Woodbine Mansion and around the corner from the new Round Rock public library. 

THE HISTORY

Hometown began with husband and wife, Freddy and Jessica Duarte, and an inspired business idea in 2020.  This dream became a reality when a historical home, located at 400 East Main Street came on the market.  Built-in 1927, once home to Round Rock’s only physician, Dr. D.B. Gregg, this home exudes charm and nostalgia.  Fast forward to the turn of the century, John Avery from the Avery Ranch family occupied the property, practicing law until 2021. Freddy and Jessica were blessed to have the opportunity to purchase this historical landmark. The Duarte family has called Round Rock their hometown since 1980 and watched it grow from a small town to a thriving city.   In 2021, Jessica along with friends and fellow mompreneurs; Amber Markee and Celise Ketch, created Hometown Gift & Décor.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to bring the “experience” back to shopping.  Stepping into our newly renovated home, boasting of antique longleaf pine floors and original shiplap walls, you will be greeted with a warm welcome and offered a complimentary beverage.  Being a boutique store, we carry a select number of items, carefully chosen in limited quantities.  From your baby’s outfit to your home decor, our intent is to offer original and unique finds.  It’s our goal to provide you with a fun shopping experience in a fresh and comfortable environment.  We offer ready-to-go gifts for those last-minute occasions.

In August of 2013 Sandy opened Mays Street Boutique to bring unique gifts, clothing and home decor to Round Rock. She carries items from local artists and products made right here in Texas! We love to support our local companies and artists and sell products from several Texas companies like Circle E Candles, Yeti Coolers, Grace & Lace, Jadelynn Brooke, Kendra Scott, Beaded By W, Luster & Ash Jon Hart and many more! 

Sandy partnered with the Kendra Scott corporation to bring Kendra Scott jewelry to Round Rock. With a common passion for charitable giving both Kendra Scott and Mays Street Boutique give back a portion of their revenues to charities. Sandy started supporting the Wounded Warriors Project in 2009 after working with the Wounded Warrior programs at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio and Fort Hood in Killeen, TX. In 2016 she founded Mays Street Charity a 501c3 organization. The charity has raised more than $60K since its inception to purchase TrackChairs that have been donated to Texas Hunter’s For Heroes, R.O.C.K. Ride On Center For Kids in Georgetown, TX and first responders in and around Williamson County. 

Interior Design and home decor has also been one of Sandy’s passions. She put together a talented team of Interior Decorators to work with our clients and has created an atmosphere within the store to help with design selections.
